Artefacto’s TAPPO ARTS Benefits Cancer Care this Miami Art Week

    Famed Miami-based Brazilian brand, Artefacto, is bringing TAPPO ARTS to the U.S. this Miami Art Week, featuring the creative talent of 50 Miami icons and artists. Beginning on Dec. 1, the auction will feature collectible pieces by design stars Deborah Wecselman and Kobi Karp, as well as other local celebrities including Miami Heat’s DJ Irie and Brazilian racecar driver Helio Castroneves. All proceeds from the project support Miami Cancer Institute’s “Arts in Medicine,” an innovative program at Baptist Health that is transforming the cancer experience for patients and caregivers through the arts.

    For the project, each designer and artist created their own rendition of the brand’s Tappo stool, which will be auctioned off at artefacto.givesmart.com.

The burlwood nesting tables, which designer Sally Richardson says “fill the space beautifully,” were sourced from RH and bring in rich cool and warm tones that perfectly complement the wood in the nearby kitchen.
