Have a Seat
“The owners of this Lakewood Ranch home near Sarasota requested a living room marked by neutral colorways with touches of blue that would serve as a comfortable conversation space,” says designer Stephanie Nolan. “The fireplace wall was clad in stacked stone with an oversized watercolor mirror from John-Richard. We flanked the fireplace with sculptural, wood console tables in a muted white finish. The coffee table is flanked by four swivel chairs in blue-toned fabrics. We chose a casual, open metal chandelier with natural stone accents to highlight the space yet not compete with adjacent lighting fixtures.”

Study or Office

Office Hours
“Located in Lakewood Ranch near Sarasota, this study was specifically created for the wife of the home,” says designer Stephanie Nolan. “For furniture we chose the Cascades collection from Sligh, with its curved fronts and beautiful scalloped detailing, because it offers lateral file space, storage, and a workable desk design. Gilded lighting and a gold-accented mirror and accessories provide the touch of elegance and sparkle that the client requested.”

To provide the touch of glamour, various gold metallic finishes in the fabrics and hardware were incorporated.”
