In the Glow

“Because the owners of this Naples estate wanted to highlight their collection of modern art and sculptures as part of the design, we paid special attention to lighting in every single room, and custom was the only way to go,” says designer Adriene M. Ged. “An example of our approach can be seen in the living area that opens to the pool deck. The recessed lighting here creates the proper amount of illumination to showcase the room properly.”

On the Surface

“Completed in 2024, this thoughtfully designed kitchen in Naples showcases an impressive book-matched stone slab that serves a dual purpose, elevating both functionality and aesthetics,” says designer Renée Gaddis. “The elegant, veined slab creates a visually stunning focal point, particularly as it seamlessly extends into a concealed storage solution.”

Going Up!

“When entering this home in Naples, you are greeted by the expansive, open floor plan that perfectly blends the great room, dining room and kitchen, while the floating staircase acts as the anchor,” says designer Adriene M. Ged. “The staircase includes three flights, and each step consists of a 3-inch slab. Next to the staircase on the first level, an oversized urn adds drama to the scene.”

Underfoot Appeal

“Our design inspiration for the flooring in this Lakewood Ranch residence near Sarasota was New York penthouse meets modern furniture and finishes,” says designer Tracy Eisnaugle. “A traditional marble inlay design graces the foyer and gallery area resulting in a grand entrance. In the main areas, we have white oak herringbone wood flooring. Polished marble tiles finish the primary bath and flow into the closet area, where wood tiles are combined to add a nice transition and combination of textures.”

Custom Touch

“Achieving the right balance between large-scale architectural features highlighted by detailed millwork and the intimacy that defines a true home became paramount in this Key Largo residence,” says designer Hank Page. “We recognized the importance of combining traditional design elements with a current color palette and contemporary materials. Then the true magic came when integrating the clients’ deep love for art in multiple forms.”

The Family Stone

“The goal with this Delray Beach bathroom was to create a relaxing, spa-like environment,” says designer Deborah Gregg. “The space was maximized by reconfiguring the overall layout, removing odd corners, angles, and soffits. The wet room features a prominent dimensional textured sandstone honed tile wall, with anchoring Aurum Lapis field tile. To create contrast and lighten the floors, we incorporated Bianco Dolomite white tile with slight gray veining.”

Accent Shades

“The palette in this vacation home in Hobe Sound pays tribute to the homeowners’ Scandinavian roots,” says designer Jackie Armour. “We embraced shades of red, white, and blue, with accents in deep navy and red. The views of the lush backyard and pool offered a warm contrast to the color palette inside. The result is a uniquely personal, timeless design.”

Refined Palette

“The inspiration for the palette of this St. Petersburg home came from a Schumacher wallcovering,” says designer Savannah Golden. “It had a trivial detail of green in the lemon trees that we matched to become the dominant color throughout the home with the use of Sherwin-Williams’ Reseda Green paint.”

Italian Inspiration

“The custom furniture we designed for this primary bedroom in Palm Beach Gardens was inspired by a trip I took to Milan,” says designer Lorraine Rogers-Bolton. “The upholstered headboard has accents of burnished brass and is elongated to create the background for the walnut nightstands within the cabinetry. The most eye-catching pieces in the room are the oval pendant light fixtures, which are made of two types of handblown glass.”
