Contrary to popular belief, mixing business and family can yield harmonious results. When Sarah Zohar was deciding what to do with the extra 600 square feet of space in the Aventura building where her interior design studio is located, a gem of an idea emerged: a store inspired by her late mother’s love of entertaining stocked with the kind of chic home decor she and her daughter, Esther Levy, love to purchase while traveling. In late spring, Rachline Accessories at 2603 NE 189th St., Miami, opened its doors.

“Rachline was my mom’s name before she moved to the States and modernized it to Rachel,” says Zohar. “The shop is an homage to her love of cooking and entertaining for family and friends. A lot of the pieces in the store remind me of how she would host groups of 20 or more and made it look so easy and effortless.”

Said pieces are personally sourced by Zohar and Levy from their travels throughout the United States, Paris, Milan, Turkey, and Asia. “We look for items that stand out because of their color, form or uniqueness,” says Zohar, “but what ultimately makes the cut is if my daughter and I both fall in love with it.”

Among the selections are a multitude of tabletop items, as well as oversized candles, crystal diffusers, display trays, raw-cut amethyst end tables, and acrylic table games.

“Rachline is the result of years spent traveling the world discovering art, culture, and design in unexpected places,” says Zohar. “The store is a tribute to connection, creativity, and the joy of making a house feel like home.”
