Kettal celebrates its 60th anniversary with a refocus on its most celebrated designs

Looking back seems to be inevitable as we get older, so how can we blame Kettal for doing the same? The Barcelona-based brand, which has a showroom in Coral Gables, is commemorating its 60th anniversary with a campaign that celebrates nine iconic pieces and/or collections that were the result of collaborations. These include the Loden armchair by Vico Magistretti, the Basket chair by Nanna and Jorgen Ditzel, the Band chair and the Maia collection by Patricia Urquiola, the Cala armchair by Doshi Levien, the Grand Bitta collection by Rodolfo Dordoni, the Kari collection by Konstantin Grcic, the Tilos chair by Antonio Citterio, and the Atmosphere lamps by Naoto Fukasawa.

To introduce or reacquaint customers with the products, Kettal recently released a photo series of models alongside the pieces. “The images aim to show how these designs continue to function naturally within contemporary spaces and everyday life,” says company literature. “These collaborations have played an important role in shaping the company’s identity and in developing collections that continue to be relevant today.”
