The contemporary Amish furniture brand Abner Henry and Palm Beach designer Helen Bergin may not appear to have much in common, but a love and respect for honest materials and artisan craftsmanship has brought them together for a partnership. The Helen Bergin Interiors for Abner Henry Collection is made up of 18 pieces handcrafted in Ohio from natural woods finished and layered in dyes and low-sheen washes that highlight the woods’ natural grains.

Standout pieces include the hexagon-shaped Lyra ottoman, an oak standout with a layer finish that combines various glazes to achieve a soft, natural vibe, and the Louis side chair, a sculptural piece made entirely from solid maple with a curved back that rises into a heart-shaped cutout.

“Informed by antique references from the 1940s, the collection balances my signature approach with the kind of refined craftsmanship Abner Henry clients have come to expect,” says Bergin. “It’s a full range of custom forms that bring lightness and character to both residential and hospitality settings. And each piece is built to order, which ensures no two are alike.”
