Model, TV host, activist, and author Padma Lakshmi has shown the world her prolific nature through a variety of projects, so her new role as product designer doesn’t come as a surprise. The tastemaker has partnered with Rugs USA for a line of 17 designs in various materials (including some that are machine washable), multiple color options, and varying sizes. “With this collection, I wanted to have something for everyone, while making sure the rugs still have personality,” says Lakshmi. “I’m somebody who lives on the floor, so what’s under my feet really matters to me, and now I get to design that.”
