New Home Accessories Line Adds a Finishing Touch

The new Adelyn Charles Collection of home accessories hits all the right marks

Perusing through the Adelyn Charles Collection, a new line of residential accessories by Gulf Coast interior designer Alex Thies, is akin to stopping in at your favorite home store to “just look around.” It’s a feeling only certain people will understand—those who will never believe there’s such a thing as too many vases.

“As I see it, the accessories in a home are the jewelry that pull it all together,” says Alex Thies, principal of the in-demand Adelyn Charles Interiors studio in Bonita Springs. “I’ve always dreamed of creating a retail line that would be a source of high-quality, timeless pieces available to all, and I decided that 2025 was the year that I was going to finally make it happen.”

And she did. After traveling and meeting with various vendors around the United States and Europe to find the products that embodied her vision, Thies lifted the curtain on the collection earlier this fall. Inspired by the belief that good design is intentional yet effortless, the grouping includes tabletop, barware, vases, trays, and baskets “all thoughtfully chosen to flow from room to room and season to season,” as Thies puts it.

The inventory ranges from the elegant (ceramic vases in a variety of colors) to the irreverent (boombox-shaped marble sculptures). Common to all the items are Theis’ five key brand values: intentionality (designs should be rooted in purpose, not design), empowerment (inventory comes from small and female-led businesses), accessibility (the look and price points of pieces shouldn’t be intimidating), longevity (products are made to last), and authenticity (pieces need to be functional as well as beautiful).

So far, response to the line has been overwhelmingly positive. “I’m thrilled that many of the pieces have already sold out,” says Thies. “I’m already in the works curating the next round and restocking what we can.”
