The colorful stained glass and tile creations of Brooklyn artist Allison Eden adorn spaces in all 50 states, as well as international destinations from Macau to Dubai, yet they are closely identified with Palm Beach, one of Eden’s favorite markets. That’s why the debut of the Allison Eden Studios Mosaic Art Gallery at the ASD Surfaces showroom in North Palm Beach (531 U.S. Highway 1) comes as no surprise.
“I’ve had a long-standing relationship with ASD Surfaces, which has always been incredibly supportive of our mosaic tile designs,” says Eden. “Displaying our artwork in their showroom is a natural fit and a perfect way to introduce our most artistic pieces to the local design community.” The new gallery includes a vast collection of Eden’s signature works, including stained glass kaleidoscope mosaics, surfboards inspired by traditional Japanese art, and an impossible-to-miss 8-foot-tall heel shoe originally exhibited at New York City’s Bloomingdale’s flagship store. “My studio is in Brooklyn, and I ship worldwide,” says Eden, “but Palm Beach is where my art is truly admired and appreciated.”
