Interior designers Dwayne Bergmann, well-known and respected here in Naples, and Kyle Barrett, an expert in mountain lodges and ranch-style homes, are the type of professionals who take matters into their own hands. So, when home accessories brands began to fall short by their standards, they decided to get together and create their own. That’s why there are decades of collective design experience informing the inventory of Barrett Bergmann Home, a line of furnishings that offers customizable bath vanities, a suite of home fragrances, real-touch floral arrangements, fine linens, and decorative musts.
“It’s always my intention to create spaces that reflect the unique style and needs of my clientele, but finding products that meet those standards has always been a challenge,” says Bergmann. “BBH is more than beautiful products with our name on them; it’s a reflection of our trade peers, their creativity, and our shared passion for design.”
As such, the brand’s aesthetic is influenced by its founders’ respective projects, the regions where they live, Bergmann’s background as a professional equestrian, and Barrett’s rancher lifestyle.
“Our styles could not be more different, but there is beauty in balance,” says Barrett. “Inspired by Dwayne’s home in Southwest Florida and my Texarkana roots, we’ve masterfully blended our individual and shared passions to create something beautiful.”
Customization is a big part of BBH’s offerings, so bath items can be made personal with signature name plates. Also notable are the brand’s faux floral arrangements, which are composed with real-touch blooms (made from modern materials like polyurethane or latex so they look and feel as close to real flowers as possible) using Japanese Ikebana techniques to create a connection with nature.
“The brand was built with designers in mind,” adds Bergmann. “We have plans to introduce new product categories in the coming seasons, so this is truly just the beginning.”
