A true representation of interior designer Erin Paige Pitts’ design ideology, this 5,042-square-foot home nestled in Boca Raton, Fla., is calm, comfortable and modern. Pitts’ eponymous, luxury residential design firm specializes in coastal interiors. “Our single mission is to create homes that reflect our clients and their coastal lifestyles,” she says. “Our love of the sea inspires our design aesthetic.”
Given carte blanche and a blank canvas, Pitts framed distinct sections with layers of design details and furniture arrangements that create visual interest. “I added paneling to the foyer and inset wall covering to create a dramatic layered feature wall,” Pitts says. Beyond, the spacious living room immediately invites relaxation. “I bumped out the fireplace wall and had tile installed floor to ceiling,” the designer says. “The ebb and flow of the ombre wall covering creates a soothing effect.”
Nearby, wood tones add warmth to the dining area that exudes a somewhat informal aura. Raffia chairs and a curved banquette interrupt the dominating white of the kitchen. “We strive to create timeless environments full of texture and layered interest,” Pitts says. “It’s what keeps a home warm and inviting.”
