Artful Landscape

Every Plant In This Key West Home Was Chosen With Its Relationship To The Architecture In Mind

as is the case with all of Key West-based, Craig Reynolds Landscape Architecture projects, the firm’s goal is to create a garden that feels as though it is an extension of the interior or another room within the home. For this residence, indoor/outdoor living was a priority, and each part of the garden needed to feel as if it had a function. In keeping, architect Haven Burkee, partner at Bender & Associates, designed clean open lines within the home that are reflected by the clean lines and repetition of patterns throughout the garden.

Founded on a passion for design excellence, Craig Reynolds Landscape Architecture provides meticulous attention to detail. Projects range from classic to contemporary. The firm’s philosophy is each garden is a work of art and should invite visitors to relax. Each and every project is approached with a fresh and individual concept. Reynolds prefers to work from the doors out including hardscape such as the pool, spa, trellis and arbors, patios and decks, fountains, landscape lighting and more. At the end, all of these elements come together within a framework of native plants and indigenous materials to create an artful balance between architecture and landscape.
