Modernist Musings in Siesta Key Home

With sweeping views of the city skyline and Sarasota Bay, the great room is awash in natural light, which filters in through a cantilevered overhang. The sculptural chandelier over the dining table is reminiscent of birds in mid-flight. A secondary focal point comes from the monolithic, bioethanol fireplace with a television mounted on top.

Visible from the living room, the exposed trusses are made of the same timber as the flooring, but were stained in a darker shade.
