In the living room, the client wanted a light, airy feeling that would also be cozy and warm. The ceiling treatment is French Art Deco-inspired, and although the space was designed to be modern, designers Allison Paladino and Zita Rudd envisioned a tailored version of the style. Dynamic elements include the book-matched Regent slabs from Opustone surrounding the fireplace and Donald Sultan’s poppies-themed artwork, Silver, on the opposite wall.
